Client Requirement
The client’s business involved entering into Purchase and Sales contracts for Coal purchase. These contracts were managed by the traders and the appropriate Sales and Purchase transactions were matched to conclude the transaction. Once the contracts were contended, the entire downstream process of creating Bank Documentation (Import and Export LCs), Shipping and Freight management , Invoicing and payments had to be managed on the platform

- Automatically generate the Bank Import and Export Letter of credit transactions
- Maker / Checker and approvals at various levels
- Generation of Shipping and freight documentation
- Invoice Entry and Payment

- A centralised repository was created and access to all documentation and transactions
related to a trade was made available at a click of a button. This was earlier managed on
several excel sheets - An approval mechanism was put in place including
o Counter Party approval and KYC
o Connected trade approval
o Bank limits and utilization summary and approvals
